In order to prevent the ensuing chaos, I would immediately yell for everyone to calm down, then I would call 911. From there I would run to Jon's side and ensure him that everything will be alright. I would stop him from trying to remove the pencil, as it will cause more damage when removed. I would have a responsible student call the nurse and tell her that we are on our way down so she can be prepared. From there I would ask the teacher next door to watch over my students as I escorted Jon down to the nurse. I would accompany him to answer any questions the nurse has, as Jon will most likely be panicking. This will also mean that someone would know what happened and remove me from any fault. Then I would contact the building administrator and let him know the situation. By this time the ambulance would have arrived and Jon will have left for the Hospital.
